There is no way to know whether there was any express and deliberate intention to kill them off. However, we probably competed with them for resources, which may have caused them to die out.

War is in our nature and since the facts aren't all in, we don't know if they killed them off or merged with them.

We didn't wage war against other hominids. We simply were better adapted for the changing world.

we didnt kill them all off we just made better weapons better homes and bigger leaps in language and as for today i believe bigfoot as its known today is gigiantipithicus an ice age great ape.
