Laptop issues?

screen is black even held up to the light. (as Ive heard can mean bad backlight) PC boots up fine can hear windows. PC was left in my car in the heat, in the on position. Problem started has lines on the screen but eventually went black. Whats my fix any ideas?

Something tells me that you melted a component in your screen. The only solution for that is to plug in a monitor.

You can actually destroy the liquid crystal material if you operate it at too high a temperature.

I would guess you need to replace the panel.
