Give the landlord/property manager a letter stating which items need to be fixed immediately (the dangerous oven, the leaking air conditioner that is causing a hazardous spot). Demand that the items be fixed within one week or you will be moving. If you can afford it, it will help your case if you have an electrician come in and check out the bad wiring before breaking the lease.

Really bad management is in the mix. Getting into a rental
life in the usual sense is not well thought out. You may want to
totally realize that location is the cue to what people need, want,
prosper, and excel within their personal life. The daily choices of
any ideal life is the one that people aim for, and puppies, a
medium service situation and people that are not supportive nor
even friendly is bad managing of your actions. There may be more to it, that when you slack off, you pay through the pocket.
Start over, get a place at a commune building houses with an
option to own your own, maybe near a farm or something you
love to do. Get yourself organized its legal.

Ok, get that air conditioner and stove out of your apartment. They are junk. If it was me, (and it has been) just call a rent to own place for these things. Pay for them yourself, take them when you move. If they are going to allow the puppies because you've taken care of your own appliances, that might help.
