I believe I hit the menu button on the computer monitor and it blurred the screen somewhat.

in almost every case when a monitor has gone "blurry" it means the monitor is messed up... as in defective... it may last for years, but that doens't mean your eyes will be able to take it for years

Some monitors will have a type of "auto-adjust" function in their menu. If not, keep exploring and messing with the settings. I can't help you more then that because there are all sorts of monitors out now each with their own settings and menus.

If this is an LCD monitor:

Make sure that the desktop resolution is set to the native resolution of the monitor.

Open up Notepad, and fill the screen with H characters. Then press the Auto Setup button on your monitor.

That should make things clearer.

Either your screen is dirty or you adjusted the sharpness setting.
Try changing that and if it doesn't work then your monitor might be broken.
