Are there only a certain amount a emotions/feelings that the mind can understand? Will there be a time when we will experience emotions that we've never felt before?

will there be a time..when everyone as a whole..would have the capability to experience emotions that are...alien. new emotions that no previous generation have ever felt?

I hate emotion-less people. those are like aliens. lol. if we have no emotions, sex and everything with pleasure will suddenly stop being fun. right..?

I think emotions can evolve, yes. We may be able to experience something no other generation has ever experienced. We would have to do something no other generation has ever done and possibly a new emotion would emote.

Some ideas...

ESP
How about using our little used ESP. If we could somehow harness our telepathy and connect with others, we may be able to get some new emotion attached to that experience.

Communicating with the DEAD
Many don't believe there is another side after we die, but if there is, how can we contact it? We may be able to get a whole new range of emotions and experiences from the otherside.

Emotions are glandular secretions the body makes in order to control the brain. They are neither good nor bad. Even though they can be fun, they can also be destructive. As we evolve our emotions are becoming less strong. The new thing that we will be experiencing is to be, at least temporarily, emotion free.

I think we, as humans, are limited to a certain range of emotions, but each person is responsible for developing his own. You, for instance, may be much more sensitive to the beauty of a sunset, and I may be more sensitive to the suffering of cattle. We can train ourselves to see things from new perspectives or to turn off certain emotions all together (you may think of turning off the love center, and I may be a CEO turning off my conscience...). I don't think we're going to discover some part of the brain we've not tapped into before in terms of emotion...

sometime it does happen..but i guess we tend to categorise it to the emotions we already know of like, m bored ,or may be there s somethin that i can achieve but cant reach out so saving myself from all the trouble i simply yawn n say oh m bored.
so i guess it just depends upon how evolved ur mind is ..are u open to new emotions or u are ready to label them as soon as u experience these emotions.
