Having a good sense of humor is great tool in life. I want to know if "humor" is learnable. If so, how do you become funny? Not just stupid, telling your mama jokes, or a priest walk in a bar. But a real good sense of humor, and real nice joke.
How do you do it? Can you learn it?

you can't learn it, but you can certainly develop a sense of humour. here's how:

gain confidence. if you're with people you feel comfortable with, you'll have a broader comfort zone, and that'll just help you throw those little jokes into a conversation.

watch sitcoms! friends, scrubs -- even leno! you pick up the funny , sarcastic replies, and learn how to change your tone to make what you're saying sound funnier.

read more, especially the paper; lots of intellectual jokes are based on current events.

I think it's genetic. There are people in my family who are funny and can make you laugh at the drop of a hat and there are people who could repeat the funniest joke in the world and it would fall flat. It's some your born with, like blue eyes, that you just can't learn.

Its not something you learn. It just happens at moments. And if you want to be a stand up. you have like be knowledgeable about things. And find the flaws and laugh at them.

Funny is spontaneity. not anything you can learn. I am more of a visual joker.
