I have seen people say anywhere between 3-6 months has been the oldest "best answer" email they have gotten.

Is there anyone else here that has gotten one for a question even older than that???

vanhammer.. FYI....There is NO time limit. I have seen unresolved questions on Singles and dating that are well over a year old. Fully 12% of the unresolved questions on this site are in that category...

No i never really look at the age of it! But i have gotten some pretty old ones because I don't even remember answering them.

The only chance I have of best answer is when the asker leaves it up to everyone to vote. I don't know why but it's just how it works.

No, but I got one from 3 months ago and a couple of weeks ago I got one from 4 months ago. Why do people wait so long to pick or go to vote? Is there a time limit? Just curious.

I gained one that became into 5 months previous. i'm happy that previous ones are being voted on - I want extra human beings could do it - it may clean up a lot of previous stuff. I dedicate some time to it - each and every time i'm right here. merely bypass to the Vote section and hit on the down arrow next to date - which will opposite the order of the questions - and the oldest will arise first. each and every little bit facilitates - thank you ?

No... not recently, but I'm pretty sure it's happened before... I think it took about that long (3-5 months or so) for one of my questions to become resolved.

Yes, the other day. It was 3 months old. I thought it was weird, but hey- best answer is best answer.
