What's with so many bands having one female member (usually singer) and many male members? Like, I think it's freaking awesome and all...so besides FlyLeaf and Evanescence, what other bands have the same situation?

1 st bands have female singers r usually there because the studios r interestd in female singers rather than men because if you look back to the 80s it was mostly men and they tried to get female singers thats kinda 1 reason why the 80s isnt alive any more and another thing is you get a better hit with the song
thx

Silversun Pickups. The bassist is a female.
Then there's the Smashing Pumpkins.

And then there's Stefy, with the vocalist as a female.
