Ok first don't rely on basketball to get you through life, if you already have basketball skills work hard to get your grades up.

If you're having a hard time in school, you need to put down the basketball and get a tutor who can help you. You may be awesome at basketball and that's great, but the fact is...only a very small percentage of people ever make it to the NBA or any other major league sporting events despite also being awesome. You need an education regardless of your basketball skills.

Damn, 44 credits? Where I live we only need 23, but anyway, since you're already good at basketball, work hard at school. Find someone smart(like a tutor or a teacher) and work with them after school. You'll thank yourself for the decision later on when you walk across that stage with a diploma in your hand.

First and foremost, you are a STUDENT athlete. That means that you should worry about the academics first and then B-ball. Like everyone else has said, school is the most important thing and you need to seek help as much as possible. You are young and it sounds like you really want to make your mom proud and I know that you will. Try just as hard with your academics as you do with the ball, use that same energy and get it done. Do you play AAU? Contact me @ good2bblessed1969@yahoo. I'm a coach and I may be able to help you.

You should seek someone to be your tutor and perhaps be evaluated for learning disabilities. Try to contact your school counselor to get this process going.
On a basketball level, there are players in the NBA who have attended community college. Steve Francis is one example. That may have to be a step for you.
Your teachers, counselor and coach can help you a lot IF you want the help and are willing to do the work necessary to improve your grades.

I'm going to say basically what the previous answers said. Concentrate more on school than on basketball. An education is even more important if you do get to the nba. You've got to be smart to manage all that money or manage the people that manage your money. You don't want to be taken advantage of. Good luck!!
