A man shouldn't actually NEED a reason to give his wife flowers (he should do it because he loves her and would like to see the joy that she may get from receiving "romantic" gifts). Unfortunately that is not the world we live in, so a good reason for a man to give his wife flowers is to make up for something wrong that he's previously done or in celebration of a special occasion (e.g. birthdays or anniversaries).

Just because he loves her, to make her happy or feel better, for a birthday, anniversary, in hospital, just had a baby, just found out she's pregnant, she had a bad day at work, she got a promotion or a new job, valentines day, to apologize after an argument, because something exciting happened that will affect both of them & it's a surprise, anytime.

The best I found is to give her flowers at her job!!! Why, because now her coworkers will be envious and she will be the talk of the office for a least a day!!! Now, that on top of the roses will make her a happy camper and it will be a great night for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
