I have been a freind of a wonderful man for over two years. I am in love with him. We started out as lovers and remained friends. He hurst me when he dates other woman. He hasn't touched since I major surgery last year. He wont let me go and wonder if I tell him will he drop me like a hot potatoe.

No I wouldn't think so, but theres more here then your letting on. Lets just say this thou, Friends can become great lovers, but lovers rarly ever become good friends. So if he is a friend to you its only natural, only right, that those feelings be intense. And that being lovers be apart of that, just weather its true for you guys to be together or not is beyond the scoop of the information in your question, but it would seem as if the love is/has already been there.....
