I am one who has this belief. We have our own people starving, homeless, and in need of medical treatment. However, we spend billions for other countries (like Pakistan) to guard their own borders. We can't even take care of the US borders! It's time to stop sending our money to countries who hate us and take care of our own people.

By the way - - I heard on CNN today that we are now spending a billion dollars a day in Iraq.

You should do a little more research into the massive domestic spending that is at all time highs. Of course the other side would be that very few Americans have a legitimate reason not to be out working and producing rather than sucking off the government teat. Not to mention that if we were allowed to drill for oil here at home and build new refineries, gas and heating fuel would be cheaper as well as food. Less gov't reg= better life.

I agree with Dana1981, they haven't forgotten about us they just don't care because we don't have millions and billions of dollars. If they cared they would increase the taxes on the corporate world and ease them for the American people.

The president truly believes that he is fighting evil in this world and he believes that he is being guided by a higher power. Right or wrong he does have some justification to want to see these conflicts end in our favor. If we cut and leave the terrorists will be right behind us and bolder than ever. Like it or not we are in this for the long hall. Remember they drew first blood

Its fairly obvious that Bush has a hidden agenda. I would not be surprised that another attack occurs on American soil befor the end of his term. Call that my gut feeling!

It's a mistake. We need to be investing our treasure in the US. Our people need so much. And we would have it to give.. except we need to GET OFF THE OIL. If not for that money which we SHOWER on them, the scum we're fighting wouldn't have dime one for arms.

he has turned his back on the working class and the underpriveleged of America, although he still gives welfare, in the form of huge tax cuts, to the filthy rich, and kisses up to corporations.
