Can you suggest some good English artists: rock, pop, whatever. I'm looking for something different to put on my iPod.

Besides The Beatles, Rolling Stones, and Coldplay.
Any other international groups that you like as well. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance.

Definitely check out The Kinks. I would recommend Arthur, or Lola Versus Powerman, as they are more accessible than some of their other albums but still have a lot of great songs on them.

Also, the Electric Light Orchestra, Badfinger, Pink Floyd, The Clash, The Small Faces, and the The Pretty Things are some other good ones.

And check out John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison's solo work. They put out some great stuff like Plastic Ono, Band On The Run, and All Things Must Pass, just to name a few.

And the first poster listed some good ones too.

My favorite English performer is Sir Elton John. I also like Morrissey and the Smiths. I love the Clash and the Zombies. Lily Allen is good, too.
