When determining parts per million you are basically referring to ions in solution. There are 150 chloride ions for every million ions you have. You have a 1 to 1 sodium/chlorine ratio to make up the molecule therefore you would have 150ppm of sodium too.

ppm refers to weight ratios, not mole ratios
Na=23 Cl=35.5 23/35.5=0.6479
150x0.6479=97 ppm
