Every night, i get up at the middle of the night, like 3-5am EVERY NIGHT. to get something to eat, I eat pizza rolls, hot pockets, and chicken wings, bought with the money i stole from my parents.(I needed food, I have nothing to eat at night) Whether Hungry or not, I HAVE to eat in order to go back to sleep. When my mother catches me eating chicken wings, she throws them away(thats her money she threw away), and sends me to my room, i was so hungry, nobody understands that i have to eat in order to go back to sleep.

Yes, this is a bad habit. It's really not good to eat like that and go to sleep. Eating something more healthier at night is better than all that greasy food. This can cause hormone inbalances and it can neutralize cortisol and slow down the production of it. It can also make you gain weight. You need to go to a doctor and let him know whats going on.

Taking money from your parents it not good. If you need money that bad and your 15 years old or older, than get a job.

Not sure exactly how old you are but this sounds like you have a problem. It's not good to eat and go back to sleep.
You should tell your mom to take you to the doctor and find something to help you sleep through the night. Or maybe try staying up later and maybe your urge will come at a more appropriate time. That just doesn't sound right.

Which one are you talking about, stealing your mother's money or eating in the middle of the night?

I'd say both are bad habits. I think you have developed a sort of ritual with food because you said "whether hungry or not, I HAVE to eat," which means that you have told yourself that you need it regardless of what your body requires. Go see a nutritionist or a doctor to help you with this because in the long wrong you'll end up with many health problems.

Have you tried exercising during the day? That gets you really tired and it helps me with my insomnia, try it.

First of all, stealing from your parents is probably not a good way to solve your problem. Can you talk to the school nurse? You seem to have a problem with compulsive eating. This is a bad habit as you are eating when you are not hungry, and eating unhealthy food at that. You are using the food to satisfy something, but it is not hunger.

You need medical attention if you can not overcome this on your own.

Eating in the middle of the night is a symptom that something is really bothering you. You seem to be too young to be able to pay a counselor, but maybe there's a group that can help you. Where I live, there's a hotline to help teenagers and others in trouble. Call your local town hall, a hospital, or speak to your librarian and see if you can find a free group to help you with this problem.

I've found when I awake at night, it's often becuase I have a sugar low in my system. By eating some protien, a slice of cheese, a piece of luncheon meat, peanut butter, or nuts, I can go back to sleep. If this is your problem, you don't need to eat a lot, just need to get your blood sugar back in shape. If your eating high sugar foods before bedtime, you might want to stop.

Hope this helps.

If you're body systems really require you to eat, why not eat some light meal. Try breads instead of those pizzas and chicken. Likewise, sleeping full is not good. You'll get higher risks of having nightmares. Don't eat yourself to death girl.

Sheesh! That's a new one one me! I would suggest you get off the junk food altogether and snack on healthy foods - you have to be overweight. Why are you stealing from your Mom? What is that all about? It is not as if you have a need to eat during the night. Try and get some councelling - you are way off track!

I did the same when I was a kid. Mother put a padlock on the fridge and marked various bottles to see if anything had been taken. Grew out of it when parents realised they couldn't stop me.

Try to take regular meals to prevent having hyperacidity which make you crave for food in the middle of the night and endeavour to help your mother to stay within the family budget. I
