I asked a question earlier about settling for someone and finding out they were perfect for you. That's what i did. I settled and am happy I did. However, there was that green eyed Kansas girl from 7th grade whose face just won't disappear. I fell head over heels for her even though she didn't know I existed. She invades my dreams even 38 years later. I have no idea where she is or what she is doing. And I refuse to search her out, that would be a slam to my wife. Right?

It's been a month since I've seen him last and a week since I last talked to him. I miss him terribly, but unfortunately we are no longer together and no longer trying to make it work. It's over and I need to accept that and move on. For a while there I really thought this was it. And so did he. I guess we really don't know when it comes to these things....

there was a period in the begining of our attraction that certain details left us unable to be together for a while ...then we got together.. we had one bumpy time when we ended it but it made us realize that we were meant to be together.. and I am happy that we came to that realization.. everyone else be damned..
