going to be one last movie based on the final book?

There are TWO books after Phoenix.
The first, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, came out a couple years ago (as a book). The movie starts filming in September. It's slated for release Thanksgiving of next year (2008).
The second, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (or something like that) is the final book in the series and it's coming out in a few weeks.
Unless this movie (Order of the Phoenix) and the next one (Half-Blood Prince) really do badly, they'll do the final movie as well. You can never say for certain, but it's about as close to certain as can be.

there is going to be 7 books total and 7 movies
there is going to be 2 more movies after the new one

No it truly is not any longer, there'll 3 greater Harry Potter movies Harry Potter and the 0.5-Blood Prince would be in theaters November 21, 2008 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows would be chop up Pt a million would be in theaters in 2010 and Pt2 in 2011.

There are two movies to go. HP and the Half Blood Prince is next, and then HP and the Deathly Hallows. Dan Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson are already signed for the last two movies.

no there are 7 books so there might be two more movies (will be 2 more movies,unless something happens other than that there will be two more) might be more books or movies if j.k. rowling decides to make more after harry graduates hogwarts (i just know bout this not a geek that loves harry potter )

emma watson (hermione) rupert grint (ron) and dan radcliffe (harry) are signed up for the last two movies 5&6 based on the last two books. 7 books, 7 movies.

i think they are planning to make all the books into movies
i know they are releasing the next movie in 2008 or somewhere around there
but i havent heard about the last book being made into a movie yet

There is going to be a last movie it is gonna reportedly be rated R and it will come out in either 2011 or 2012
