It doesn't surprise me at all.
Take a look at this and see if it doesn't sound right.

Moore needs publicity like a junkie needs the next fix.
Sure, he offers some good talking points, but essentially, it is all a dog-and-pony show designed to bring him more attention.
Fact is, MM plays fast and loose with facts.
In the making of his movie, Moore took his cameras to Cuba but, alas, failed to mention that, according to The World Health Organization, the health system in the USA is better than in Fidel's socialist paradise. I'm sure Moore's oversight was accidental.
The same pattern repeats itself in his other movies.
Since the American public usually accepts what it sees without questioning it, perceptions easily become the new reality...and don't let the facts get in the way of a good story!

Up till Farenheit 9/11 I throught of Michael Moore as a respected source and a 0.5 way first rate Journalist. i will nevertheless watch the two certainly one of his different video clips, Roger and Me and Bowling For Columbine. i think of the final 2 video clips inspite of the undeniable fact that, are one sided, non actual and delivered out of context. It became a bombshell. on the different hand, Al Sharpton has been irrelivant for a protracted time. i've got faith him to be a racist and an oportunist. i think of the broken straw for me became this recent Don Imus concern. on the air Sharpton and a woman (who's call i won't be able to submit to in ideas) had him backed right into a nook and he innocently suggested "there is only no perfect you human beings is there?" and Sharpton to good thing about this with the aid of asserting "you human beings?!?". i could say Sharpton over Moore... anyday

So how do you account for people he used quotes from in his film being upset that he misquoted them or abridged their quote or testimony twisting it to somethign other than it was.
Much of his factual back up ... isnt factual.

I know. He totally ripped them a new one. I say that even hating him as much as I do. And yes, as big of a banterous bafoon as he is, some of the statements he said were DEAD ON....but not all of them.
As far as all of his opinions though, I wouldn't bet my life on his accuracy!

He has not factually backed up his films - check out farenHYPE 9/11, not only does it discredit him but people interviewed in farenheit talk about he mislead them in interviews.
