how good is pokemon pearl? and the like...?

Question

i want to get a DS so i can play out this new pkmn game, is it worth it though? how many other good games does DS have so i wont be waisting my money for just one game...
is is REALLY good? hopefully longer than the ones in the past...

whats the pros. of the game that will make me want to buy it for sure?

and if you have a few extra seconds...what other games for DS is there?

Pokemon Diamond (or Pearl) is a really great game that exceeds expectations in my book. You can transfer previously captured Pokemon in FireRed, LeafGreen, Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald to your file on Pearl (once you beat the game.) You should also consider this: if you want a Murkrow which evolves into Honchkrow, get Diamond. If you want Misdreavus which evolves into Mismagius, get Pearl. Also, in Pearl, you can find the exclusive breed Glameow in Pearl. I think Diamond's is Happiny. When you go underground, you can find Cranidos in Diamond and Shieldon in Pearl. Pokemon Pearl is absolutely AWESOME!!!!!!!! Some good things Pearl Version is that there are like 100 new Pokemon plus the old ones, it is harder than some of the other Pokemon games, the characters are cooler, it has a bunch of extra quests besides beating the Elite 4, and it is just so much fun. It has great graphics too. Some other good games for the DS are Pokemon Ranger, Mario Cart DS, Animal Crossing: Wild World, Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time and many more games.

I think Diamond/Pearl is the best one so far. I've been playing Pokemon since Red/Blue and have played every one since then on all systems. It has all the elements of all the other games, plus the Sinnoh region in this game is bigger than Hoenn, Johto and Kanto. They didn't change any of the things that make Pokemon so great, they simply added new things like the Underground which is pretty fun. Also you can battle/trade on line through WiFi. Those are pretty much the pros, as for cons, I cant think of any except that the Elite 4 didn't get harder the second time like they did in Fire red/Leaf green, but there is a separate Battle Island that I haven't got to fully explore yet so there might be an equally good place for training to 100 there.

K... other DS games... Puzzle Quest is stupidly fun and addicting, there is a pretty neat Mario game also. I haven't played any other games, but for me the DS is worth it just for Pokemon.

It is really really good. the DS has picto chat wifi touch screen and a very very good selection of games.
Pokemon diamond and pearl are the best games i own for the DS. and i own metroid prime hunters new super Mario bros. and Mario kart. i strongly recommend all of these games.

I bought my DS soley for the purpose of Pearl/Diamond. So far I have logged 110 plus hours on Diamond and I am very happy with it. I also have Mario Kart but I harldy play that.

Well you cant really beat the game when you beat the elite four wait and then you can go to the shark mountain it. My bro has like 9 other fun games
