Democrats did no longer grab administration of Congress as a Revolution or Coup got here approximately. They have been elected to the common public in 2006 yet Pelosi mentioned they'd not prosecute any of the folk in touch interior the Iraq invasion. That has no longer paid off to place your head interior the sand which Dems continually do or to agreeable with the Repubs. The economic device replaced into on a precipice by way of de-regulation of economic markets and no oversight. It replaced into lined up via the Bush administration and did no longer show the disaster until Bush left then the floodgates burst open and the certainty got here out. That replaced into in beginning up of 2008 and had no longer something to do with a Democratic majority in 2006. all of the wear and tear replaced into performed via the Repubs and Bush, no longer the Dems who tried to place a finger interior the dyke, in an attempt to talk. they are continually afraid to be ambitious.

Man if that happens, my wife and I will never get the house we want.
Instead of the 4 bedroom 3 bath we want, we'll have to settle for a double wide trailer. The Dems will have taxes and interest rates so high that the payments on a 250K house will be like $2500 a month because rates will be back up to around 18% just like they were under Carter.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
That would be a tragedy in huge proportions.
Now I'm gonna have night mares.

Nothing they would do could be worse than what we have now. Besides with a Democrat in the White House and a Democratic controlled Congress we can finally start moving forward again. Stagnation and moving backward is getting old. We need progress and that is why we need progressives in office. Once the progress has been made at a breakneck pace we will need, once again, to stop and take a breather. That is when we elect Republicans, conservatives, who slow things down to a crawl when it comes to progress. That is not necessarily a bad thing as long as we pick up and move forward again.

Carter was actually a bit of an outsider, and didn't get on that well with his own party - that was a major reason he had so much difficulty. Clinton is a party hack with excellent connections - any problems in her administration will be different, at least in origin, from those faced by Carter.

It's Hillary, not Hitlery. if she is elected, it would be a great day for this country. I miss the peace, prosperity, budget surpluses, and great economy we had under Bill Clinton. George W. Bush and the republicans put the future of this country in the toilet and it's going to take another Clinton to fix the mess left by a Bush. She would make this country great once again.

The democrats are proving themselves very worthy at blowing every chance handed to them by being in charge of Congress and by the time silly Hilly gets on the ticket most the faithful followers of hers will stand just as proud as the current congressional leaders.
Great clothes, expensive flights, manicures, fancy make-up facials and costly haircuts will be the order of the day while all their pretentiousness courts volumes of hypocritical blunders without a single ounce of ability.
I guess that does remind me of the Carter years.

In the first place, her election to the presidency will have not affect on the Congress. She is a Senator. If you don't even know that, how can you be so opininated about what her presidency (God forbid) would be like?
There are only two people running for President who would actually make good changes, Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich.
