Unnecessary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am not against abortion but I'm no cheerleader for it either. The first trimester of pregnancy is three months. That is plenty of time to make a decision .If a woman goes into labor at 2-3 months pregnant the fetus has no chance of survival but, at 22 weeks [like the state of New York allows for abortion] the child could survive! No! Partial birth abortion in my opinion is cold blooded murder!

I am a pro-choice woman but I think that partial birth abortion takes that choice a bit to far. Now if the procedure is done because of medical reasons,such as the mothers life being endangered,than I am not opposed to it. But other than that I think the abortion should be done as soon as possible.

Actually concerning the mother being in danger...giving a mother at risk a c-section is no more stressful on her body then a partial birth abortion. (have been told this by friends who are Labor nurses) I have seen pictures and while I am pro-life on all levels...the pictures of PBA are just the most disgusting thing I have ever seen and I never want to see it again.

I believe in the power of choice.I also believe that until a baby has taken it's first breath,it's not truly alive.I have heard of some who deliver full term babies and no breath,no medical reason,but no breath,still born is what it's called,I hope not to offend any one whose gone through these things.I don't think under normal circumstances women should go through that,I have a friend who did and she said not I said,she said she had the baby in the bed and it's body looked burned from the chemicals that were used.this was many years ago.I would encourage self control or birth control if a child is not the intent.Abortion is emotionally hard on every woman whether we admit it or not it hurts inside our hearts,but some times we have to do what we have to do.When I had an abortion I was 4 or 5 weeks in and some how during the procedure I knew what was happening and I remember waking up crying and a nurse holding my hand.It's not worth it at any stage.
