Who is the most injury prone player? One person that comes to mind is Grant Hill, but he still does. I'm thinking about a player that COULD be good, but gets injured way too much that it doesn't even matter.

Alan Houston, Grant Hill, and Chris Mihm.

Due to the huge contract Grant Hill signed w/ the Magic, he's been the poster child for injured player. But remember that before his botched ankle surgery, he was a healthy All NBA player w/ the Pistons.

Try looking at Shaun Livingston. He hasn't done anything significant in the NBA yet. All he's been is the potential next Magic Johnson & more often than not, he's on the bench in civilian clothes due to various injuries, the latest of which was a season ending knee injury last year.

Gerald Wallace gets injured alot and he can be really something. He averaged 2 blks and 2 stls a game few seasons back.

Marcus Camby was a very injury proned player and is really good.

Shaq is now starting to get a lot of injuries and taking time off.

As other people mentioned, Camby is a guy that when he plays is one of the best Cs in the game, but is far too injury prone (other than last year) for it to matter.

Other guys that come to mind are AK-47 (altho he sucked last year even though he didn't get that injured), Brevin Knight and Jamaal Tinsley who are great passers but very injury prone. Yao Ming's toe keeps getting in the way of him being consistent. Speaking of rockets, same with T-Mac. Could be one of the greatest in the game if it weren't for his sore back. And Baron Davis is also in that category.

Of all the guys I mentioned, Knight and Tinsley are considered guys who are not great and a lot of that has to do with their lack of PT. But I think that if Baron played all of his games, he would be the best PG in the game today.

Shaq...... it is becoming a habit for him to miss atleast 20 games lately and i think its getting worse because he just missed 42 games last season.... thats more than half and even when he did play he had to rehab so much he was in terrible shape..... He still can be a top 50 player in the NBA but if not 25 but the injurys hes gotten since he joined the heat are piling up....

T-Mac, D-Wade. Steve Nash never has injuries that take him out for a long time, but he gets knocked down at least 10 times each game. Also, manu Ginobili is always getting hit in the nose (Well, his nose IS big).

Shaq does too, but I'm starting to suspect that he's exaggerating the severity of his injuries because he doesn't want to play

Depend on what you mean, if it's one major injury that never really can heal properly then it's Grant Hill; if it's different type of injuries every time then Marcus Camby.

I agree. Kobe was the first person I thought of when I read the question. He's played through injuries, colds, and has put off his finger surgery for months just in order to play.

Marcus Camby had an unusually good year this year. I would have to say that him and Corey Maggette are like the Fred Taylors of the NBA.
