I am a college student and so far I haven't taken out a student loan.
My first semester was paid for by my great grandma and I work so I pay the remaining....it sure does suck working and going to school but I do not want loans to pay off.

I only got a student loan for one semester and used it to buy the normal college stuff books, and tuition etc.

Yes I did.
I didn't have a student loan. I had a scholarship.
I guess I was one of the lucky few but I worked very hard and was always thankful for getting it.

Would you believe I didn't spend a dime, except for books. when I went to College. I had a 4 year scholarship. I went to school during the day, and worked at night.
