His father was muslim, but not a devout muslim. Obama's mother was an atheist. Obama is not a muslim, he is Christian and he goes to a United Church of Christ church in Chicago. And, he did not attend a madrasa in Indoneasia. He attended a school where Catholics, Muslims and non-religous types all sent their kids. Read his book if you want to know more.

No he is Christian, he belongs to the United Church of Christ. His mother and father, (who was muslim) divorced when he was 10. When he was old enough to make choices for himself, He found Christ and the Christian religion.
But only fellow Christians would be Hypocritical in regards to that. Most of the "Born agains" were former sinners. So then once a sinner always a sinner right? So then there is no chance for anyone to change and gain forgivness in the eyes of the lord., right? If your parents decide you are one religion, there is no point in you converting or finding your own way, right? Who among us can say that we are the same people now, as we were when we were ten and guided only by our parental input and none of our personal thoughts and ideals?

As one who has lived in Kenya let me tell you, Kenya is not mostly a Muslim country. It's a tribal based society and is much more Christian than Muslim. Actually most of them are agnostic.

You will get many lies here from people who don't want to outright say that they don't want to vote for a black man. Thats okay because we know who they are. As you very well know people are capable of finding and losing their religion. Obama had a father that was raised as muslim.

He belongs to some sort of touchie-feelie non-demoninational nominally Christian church, IIRC. Perfectly reasonable for a Democrat, really.


I suppose some radical islamists might consider him an apostate, and so want to kill him - but those same radicals would probably want to kill him for being an American, anyway.
