Some of the things that WILL be different are: Instead of the paste like flowers, they will be real red roses and stephanotis, and there wont be hearts at the bottom & top, instead it will say Ashley & Chris 12-21-07... Or something like that.. No cake topper, just more flowers instead.
I think it will be a vanilla bean cake, rasberry filling and buttercream frosting..
What do you think? Any suggestions?

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I notice you are having it on the longest night of the year, which is a great time to have it, symbolically speaking.

The cake looks lovely, and the insides sound delicious.

I had fresh flowers on mine, as well, and every time I have been to a wedding since then I have thought to myself that real flowers make the best decoration for a wedding cake if you are going to have flowers on it. Even the most talented baker can't capture the beauty of real flowers.

Happy wedding! (When December rolls around, I mean).

I like it BUT it's not my style.
I am more contemporary. I prefer square cakes and as little on them as possible.
I would recommend, since you are doing raspberry filing to use raspberries as your decoration instead of flowers.
I find the fruit from the top sliding down would look beautiful. I find flowers overrated and boring plus a big waste of money!!!
Wrap each layer with a red ribbon and have the cake designer/maker put pearl candies around the trim and all over the cake. That would look AWESOME!
Red is the BEST color for a winter them (any season theme) and trust me, you can't go wrong!
RED RULES!!!!!!!! ;)

I'm a guy-so is your future husband. Here is what guys think about it-If we had to, we may buy a chocolate cake at the day old bakery. To keep you women happy (we love you), we think your choice is terrific! Great ideas! ♥

By the way, we could not have designed a better floral display at the church. Awesome ! ♥

Gorgeous! Or you can be unique about it & order a Doberge (7-layer) cake. It's a New Orleans style cake.
