I would say that most of your answers are wrong..Number One The Canal was not finished in 1914 for whomeever answered that... Number 2 Panama was within the limits of COLOMBIA and Not Columbia..until November 3 of 1903..so I am not sure if that statement is completely true... Number 3 Roosevelt does not have anything to do with the creation of the NAtion of PAnama and the Govemerment of Panama did not Accepted no moeny to build the Canal....The French and Americans BUilt it...They did not give us no Money..We made a treaty that said that the Canal was going to Return to the Panamanians Goverment by the year 2000....
I dont know when the Great depression was..but the Canal was done near the 1950's

The Panama Canal was completed in 1914. The Great Depression was 15 years later, 1929-39.
