I was browsing through the questions in the horoscope section and there were questions like, "Which sign is the Sexiest Sign?"...or " Pisces: the ugliest signs?", "Scorpio women can't be trusted?", "Virgos: the least sexiest?". *sigh* it's so ridiculous. i've met plenty of good-looking pisces and my best friend is a scorpio and i trust her 100%. I saw somebody saying, All of the water signs aren't really sexy because they are too sensitive! it's so stupid & ignorant.
So, What do you think about all of this??? Why do you think people do this? To feel better about themselves?

People say that cause they're ignorant.And u can't speak about someone considering only his horoscope sign.

Stereotype, label, and pigeon-hole. This is what astrology does best.
Astrology is divination practice that has many flaws and one is that due to the constellation name (based on Greek myths) your personality is supposed to like the sign. Libra means you are more "balanced" than others just because you are born in that time period. There is no data to support such claims. You must believe or there is no point to bother with astrology at all.
Astrology is really bias against itself. Race, religion, nationality, sexual orientation and other background events do not matter for astrologers. Just give birth time and location, then someone looks in a book (or web site) to assume your personality. Then this person (that you never met) can chose your relationships in your life. What can be easier?
Prejudgment of a person based upon an accident of birth over which the person has no control, and which has no scientific validity is simple bigotry. Would you rather be judged by your own merit or your birthday?
Personally I'd rather "know" when ever possible rather than blindly "believe". Things that are "too good to be true" should be examined carefully. If one does not see there own flaws, others certainly will. Evidence that can be tested would help to convince, but just taking someone's word will not.

The fact that you're looking for other people 'like you" (and you will find some) who will agree with you proves the opposite of what you're saying.
You and these people will have some common characteristics and personality traits that you will find correspond with your zodiac sign. Hahaha!!!!
Think about it, just because you don't believe in something doesn't make it false. It just means you know nothing about the subject.
