Ha ha. Maybe I will try that. Here is a star for making me laugh.
Short story: I had my two nephews doing yard work at my house. They are big eaters. I went to McDonalds (by myself) to get us all food and ordered something like 12 hamburgers and 3 orders of fries. The guy asks me, "for here or to go." I didn't really have the nerve to ask if I looked as if I ate that much.

Funny, I work at El Pollo Loco, You should see the customers face when I ask them for here or to go, since English is their second language. I do get the joke. The funny thing is my customers don't know what for here or to go means. I know how you fell. I speak English as a first language so this is not a problem for me.

Well, there's only a 50-50 chance that they actually serve it up the way you ask anyway. Quite often, if I want to eat in they give it to me in a bag, if I want it to go, they put it on a tray... A lot of the folks at (especially McDonalds) places around here don't pay that much attention to what the customers say to them!,

I'm a shift manager at Wendys in New York and I don't think it would be funny. If you came to my store I would make it to go by putting all your food in bags and then I'd put the bags on a tray just in case you wanted to eat in.

I always for here since I don't feel like eating on the go. If I said yes they wouldn't have a clue since English is their second language.
