The founding fathers only opposed the establishment of a State Religion such as they had in England.

There was no steadfast "wall" between Church and State as has been peddled through political propaganda over the years.

No matter how much you hate Christianity or Religion in general, based on the Constitution and the writings of the Founding Fathers, there is no evidence that there is any law exists establishing strict prohibition of religious practice or influence on the federal government.

New laws will have to be made in order to build a full wall between the two.

erm...."separation of Church and State", as the term is interpreted these days, is not actually in the Constitution.

Congress cannot define one religion as the "official" religion for the United States, there cannot be a prerequisite of being a member of a particular religion to hold political office, and no one may prevent you from following any set of religious beliefs that don't also violate other laws.

There is nothing in our founding papers that says "seperation of church and state". It is generaly used only by libs when they are trying to push their religion "global warming" down our throats.

I have never seen the goverment force religion on any one any where.I have many times seen the aclu file lawsuits to prevent liberty in many places that can't afford to fight them in court.I think the goverment should help the ones being sued. The lawyers win either way.I think if the a.c.l.u. looses they should be fined heavily.
