i think they blame western cultures for causing the terrorist mentality. that is feeling like the only way the west will listen is to turn to terrorism.

Hippies buy more rock music than conservatives that mostly like country. Just like 80% of those that buy rap music are middleclass/rich white kids. I'm sure there are conservative rockers out there (see Alice Cooper and Elvis Presley), but just not as many. Many of those new punk bands are wimpy, afraid of upsetting somebody that could kill them.

I think it all boils to a matter of free speech. They have their opinions on how the president is handling the situation and are voicing it.
