I recently saw a special on TV that said we will align with the sun and the center of the Milky Way in 2012. This event was predicted my the Mayan calender and Chinese ancient records too. They predict the end of the world.
It is believed the center of the Milky Way, our galaxy, is a massive black hole. In theory there is no known astronomical event that could occur at the time of alignment in 2012 that could result in our doom by such an alignment.
We are always at risk for solar explosions and corona ejections, asteroids and comets, and self destruction.
All have nothing to do with such an alignment.
I'm quite certain nothing will happen. The distance between our sun and our galaxy's black hole is too vast to make any real difference, and if it did affect our sun we would have seen such an event out of alignment as the relative distance is the same for those two objects.

No because a black hole appears when a planet explodes so the moon would have to explode and the moon is small so it wouldn't suck the Earth and destroyer it. But if we align with Mars then we could die. But you have to understand that its far away. But since its bigger that Earth the black hole could be large and power full enough to suck Earth. But when the Sun runs out of Helium and Hydrogen the Sun will explode and make a black hole that WILL Destroy ALL the planets.

Therfe is a rather large comet coming close to the Earth in 2012, all the doom-stuff is just hype from idiots. You can find out about it as little, here...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012
The Myan calander says this is the end of the current cyce, byt few people realize that the cyce immediately starts over into the next one...
Also, Eros, a lafge comet will come clost to the Earth...
All the nuts in the world are saying this is the end of all time. You should look these things up, and find out who is saying things beforfe you go hysterical. Just google it, and see the weirdo's that "believe" it. That, alone, sill make you feel better.
The last event was 2,000, and the new one is 2,012 - just another round of crapola...

No. There are no black holes anywhere near our solar system. Anyway, what would an "alignment" be? There is no such term in astronomy. There are conjunctions and oppositions and things like that, but nothing called an alignment.

Uhm...no.
In theory, because space is spherical, we're always a straightline shot away from every black hole in the Universe. To be "aligned," you need at least three different bodies in space to be on one line straight from end to end.
And as far as I know, that's not going to happen.

since space is so big and never ending i think we are aligned everyday. Think about no matter where in the universe you stand (or float) you will be aligned with a comet, asteroid,a sun, planets, maybe even aliens.
