But, if i just turn on the ICS I'm afraid that my ISP will find out (I'm not allow to share my connection). As someone told me, it seems that there is something that I need so my ISP will never know that I'm sharing my connection. Thanks for helping me.

If your ISP would detect a router, it will detect an Internet Connection Sharing connection because they work basically the same way.

Your internet connection is fed into one network card in the initial pc. It is set to obtain IP address automatically.

You set up a second Network Interface Card in the pc connected to the internet and provide it with a static non-routeable class C subneted IP address. You also provide all other wired network pcs with a static, unique non-routeable class c subneted IP address in the same subnet as the second NIC of the pc connected to the internet. Then you invoke ICS in Windows.

I suspect you will not be successful because you have now converted the first pc into a router for all practical purposes.

on an identical time as there is a few thing referred to as "cyber web Connection sharing" geared up into abode windows XP, it demands a minimum of a hub/swap for the two desktops to plug into, and is not any longer very stable whilst in comparison with employing a router- the relationship on the 2d gadget usually dies after awhile (each now and then purely some hours) requiring a reboot. in case your significant laptop had 2 community enjoying cards, you will be able to additionally attempt employing a crossover cable (bear in mind you want 2 actual connections- one between desktops and one to the cyber web), yet back that's no longer almost as good as a committed piece of hardware which incorporate a router. Routers are airborne dirt and airborne dirt and dust low priced- notably with instantaneous ones advertising for below $50 variety new, you could likely get a used universal old router for $20 (an identical value as a community card) So grab secondhand router like a Linksys BEFSR41 or D-link DI-604 (that have a geared up-in 4-port swap) and be satisfied!

Get a wireless router instead of using ICS. It's a lot easier, because your computer would have to be on in order for them to be able to use it. Routers will usually stay on all the time, unless of coarse you turn it off yourself. Get a wireless router, hook the internet up to it and instantly you have shared internet. What kind of ISP doesn't allow sharing?!?! You should seriously try to get a new one as fast as you can. Your paying for the internet so why should they care weather you have multiple computers accessing it? If they're really progressive about it, call them and raise hell. Hope that helps. If you must turn on ICS, google it, it's sort of lengthy and it's easier to set it up by seeing pictures of it being done.
