We have filed for divorce. H then calls and says that he has made a terrrible mistake, he wants his family back, he has dumped the OW he left us for but he knows that I will never forgive him and he couldn't live like that so he is going through with the divorce.
Why bother telling me that when we are already proceeding with the divorce?

I was married to one of those also, (who happened to be a cop...come to your own conclusions with that one...) and he STILL has moments when he wants us together again. (Usually when he is in-between woman and ALL OF A SUDDEN, I am the most attractive woman around...hum...) We divorced in 2004!! I was his botty call for longer than I was his wife and that is not what any woman deserves. So, I say let him go, they are GOOD at trying to convince us of a whole lotta sh*t.
My thoughts are "you can take the man outta the game-but ya can't take the game outta the man" and they will cheat again--they have their whole lives.

The mere use of the word (if you can call it that) "'splain" speak volumes of your education and how you interact with other people.
