No it's not. This behaviour you see in the media happens every four years.
Our "BIG2" will begin trying to discredit eachother trying to get their candidate elected.
Remember, Todays politicians in the DNC and RNC care about only ONE THING. Getting their candidate elected into office. They don't care about the country or it's people.
All this said, I'm happy to see more people on here speaking out for unity among all rather that jumping on the partisan bandwagon

Absolutely NOT! The mud slinging is the prologue to the political conventions. What a great American tradition!

Nope! This is a myth proposed by the media when a republican is in the White House or the Congress is is controlled by the republican party.

Every story that the media cover will tell you in one way or another that things are bad and getting worse because we have a republican president, at the moment, e.g. gas and grocery prices or foreign policy.

What MAY happen, is that we will elect a democratic White House next, and then Al Qaeda will get a cell working within the country and stage an attack in the first year of the newly-elected dim president. The media will blame the attack on Bush, of course, because their guy/gal would have been president for less than a year.

THAT argument didn't work with 9/11. The media have blamed Bush since 9/12. The fact that Billy Bob failed to respond to ANY of the terror attacks and only emboldened OBL in the '90s falls on their deaf ears.

If you feel the country is not falling apart--that's your opinion. Here's a story that we all need to get behind:

We have only five days left to defend a free and open Internet
at the FCC. The agency needs to hear from you about Net
Neutrality -- the principle that stops AT&T, Verizon and Comcast from controlling where you can go online.

Thousands of people have already told their stories (see below) urging the FCC to protect Net Neutrality. Now it's your turn:

Tell the FCC to Save the Internet:
www.savetheinternet.com/yourstory

You need to act now before the FCC closes its comment period. If we flood them with comments in support of Net Neutrality, the FCC will be pressed to stand up to the giant phone and cable companies that seek to undermine free choice on the Web.

i think of it’s a disgrace that with all the flaws that are occurring in the international at present human beings desire to waste their time on changing something that rather doesn’t matter. I say it doesn’t matter because of the fact whether they're efficient at removing the be conscious god from faculties and different important historic records and words its no longer likely to make a difference. the phobia or love for god is utilized with the aid of human beings and that i say human beings because of the fact I have not have been given any wisdom of how the the remainder of the international makes use of god yet so a techniques as we bypass properly we use the be conscious god to our convenience. The church makes use of god to inflict concern and order, politicians are the worst pimps while it includes god because of the fact it seams like numerous time they desire to win an election they use god as an excellent part of speeches to win over the yank vote best occasion Mr. bush.. yet to bypass back with what i became into asserting what does this is counted god has and continuously would be used to our convenience that’s how we as people have continuously justified maximum of our savage strikes in any case..

As a libertarian, I can safely say the foreign policy of our country is a horrible mess. Bush has destroyed our standing in the world, the value of the dollar, our national debt and just about everything else he's touched. We need change. Join the Ron Paul Revolution for a better America.

It would fail apart if we the people do not stay alert and use our power in the vote. We just sent a powerful message to both President Bush and his partners on the left wanting to give amnesty to illegals and they tried to ram it down out throat and failed and now they are aware many of us are not going to be avoided.

An interesting question. No, it's not. If you do a little research you'll find in the USA the same rates of divorce, teen-age pregnancy, unwed mothers, crime, etc etc etc in 1776 as there are today.

So the family is not 'under attack', the kids today are no worse than ever, and the sky is not falling.

The country has to fall apart every so often in order for a more perfect union to develop. i.e. civil war, Great Depression, prohibition, etc. etc.
