It seems like more people on this site get their info from other websites and not TV. Now, libs like to watch Fox News and ask questions about it on Y/A. Thank God for the libs, they keep me posted on the latest Fox headlines.

Fox 'information' is propaganda? Perish forbid! are not they 'straightforward and balanced'? do no longer they promote all those cool meds that no-one can arise with the money for...and vehicles that suck up gas like there's no the next day and help 'our' troops no count how many are killed and maimed? it is not undemanding to have faith that a television community run via arch conservatives like Roger Ailes could enable very own bias to seep into their 'reporting'. after all, they only 'document', and we are meant to come back to a determination. an prolonged time in the past i desperate that Fox is a very nasty piece of artwork and has approximately as lots validity as famous person chamber protection stress tribunals would desire to the assumption-approximately 'justice'. Propaganda sucks, and so does FOX.

Well, lltrix, I will have to disagree with you...somewhat. Television can inform people if they are watching things like shows about historical events/people, scientific shows on topics like vulcanology, etc.
I do agree that people who rely solely on TV for their current events get only a small slice of the intellectual pie, though.

I don't think television makes you more conservative, I think conservatives tend to gravitate more to television.
Liberals are by nature skeptics of what they are being told. So many of them seek out several sources of information. For whatever reason they are also more likely to read newspapers. Overall I believe people who identify as liberal are slightly more educated.

The more T.V you watch, the less you know. I think many people are intellectually lazy so they fall back on watching television for their information even though the television is the least likely place to inform anyone.

I wouldn't generalize from the responses to a Y!A question. There is no way to determine the truthfullness of posts here. Libs seen to watch Fox News more than Conservatives. They sure complain about what they see there.

I am a Conservative and rely on the news for no factual information - I do research on my own and seek a variety of sources before concluding anything. Most of my friends and associates do the same.
I see the opposite true from liberals whom I know - they repeat newscasts and talking points as if they were parrots.
