I am having sharp pains under my belly. I am a little over 35 weeks pregnant and feel like this kid is gonna come a little early. I am also having pressure in my cooter. It is usualy when th kid starts to move a whol lot. He is hurting me when he does this. I hope there is nothing wrong. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them. I don't think that I am having contractions the pains are just sharp and I really dont think my stomach is getting hard. I am home alone with a 2 year old so I can't just jump into the car and go to the ER. I just want personal experinces only thank you

I was told that thats just the baby stretching or getting in to position. It's nothing to be worried over. But if your concerned, go get checked, you know your body better than anyone else.

What you are experiencing is very normal. I'm 38 weeks pregnant and I've been having those same feelings since I was about 35 weeks. The sharp pains are probably your ligaments stretching, the pressure and pain in your vagina is probably just him moving his head since he is probably head down by now. You should be having a visit soon with your OB, so I recommend talking to him/her about whats going on.. but I'm 100% it is totally normal and doesnt mean the baby is going to come in the next week or so. I hope this helps.

My sharp pains at 36 weeks turned out to be contractions. I didn't notice if my stomach was getting hard or not though. Have you called your OB yet? She will probably want to make sure everything is okay. Better safe than sorry. Good luck.

I think the pressure you are feeling is the baby getting into position for birth, and the pains could be a result of the baby hitting or pinching a nerve. Relax momma everything will be fine! Best wishes!

You are not alone. I have been having the same thing. Very normal. I will be 35 weeks on Monday. Unless the pain become horrible, I would just relax. Hang in there, it's almost over. :)

I've felt some of the same pain you are describing...I don't think there is anything wrong. I asked my Dr and she said it is ligaments stretching and that it is completely normal...that was only a few weeks ago and I am 37 weeks now. I'm not sure what they are but I feel them too!

Yep..that sounds pretty normal to me. I can remember having those sharp pains in my side..i thiought it was labor..lol
Mine didn't go away until I gave birth but I found it helps to be able to relax and not always be GO GO GO.
Also, since you have a 2 yr.old I would suggest having someone come to sit with you liek a week or so before your due date.

I've had two kids and this sounds totally normal to me. Like a previous poster said, drink some water and sit down for awhile (even though that's pretty difficult with a 2 year old!!)

Could be just the baby getting into position, and your body opening itself up for the main event. Call teh Dr's office and talk to them and tell them...it will help ease your mind

Just stay calm honey. You KNOW what contractions feel like - you have been there. These could be Braxton Hicks???? Or just things getting ready. Try and get some sleep and see what happens! Good luck - your baby is probably slowly on his way.
