Why can't u guys just take it like civilized people when people don't agree with you? I think that people have appereared to be rude, but its childidish to go around reporting those that share an opinion that is different from yours. I think if you take it personal and are not going to like the difference in opinion one should just not come to this forum if you are going to act like a child and go reporting and blocking people.what do you think?

Yes, I do believe we have achieved Maximum Immaturity today. I'm sorry that's your first impression of Gender Studies. I started to come here after reaching my stupidity threshold in other areas (example: Diet & Fitness -How can I lose 20 pounds in a month? - every day!) of Yahoo Answers and actually found some intellectually stimulating discussions. But it has been spiraling downward for a few weeks, and today sure seems like rock bottom. I do hope it doesn't get any worse. I cannot even imagine it.

You might have a more open-mind.

Oh I agree with you 100%. I don't come here to judge or be upset over someone's post/opinion. I have read some mean stuff on here and some really personal attacks as well. I look at this place or any other place online as a public place with people with many different ways of thinking...everyone has a right to their opinion and everyone has the freedom to speak their minds...and the people who get upset have a right to express their anger as well...and the right to block/report people. It really doesn't matter to me.

I totally agree with you on that!!! in my opinion, that is not only childish as you said, but narrow-minded as well!!!! and I'm glad someone brought it up. One of the things that to me is so cool about yahoo questions is that you get answers from all sorts of people from different parts of the world and you get to hear so many different opinions and ways of thinking and its just annoying when people are open to new ideas!!
