My upstairs neighbor had just had a knock-down drag out fight with her Boyfriend. It was about 3 in the morning, and they were screaming so loud, you couldn't help but hear every word being said.

The way it ended up was, he said that HE could go out with anybody he wanted and that SHE would have a hard time finding anybody to go out with.

So, since I was so rudely brought out of my slumber, I plotted to get my revenge on him (he started it). I decided to wine and dine her to make him jealous.

I let her in on my plan and she was 100% willing to be wined and dined (she was a clerk at a store and he was a starving artist/student). Well, Christmas rolls around and they are still not back together. I decided to go out for a gift for her since her ex wasn't going to be around for Christmas.

I walk into the nearest jewelry store and happen to see him there. It was a cool reception at best. In the haste to buy a gift, I upped my budget on the gift and ended up spending several hundred dollars on a really nice bracelet.

I gave it to her a couple of weeks before Christmas and she was pretty happy. Everything would have probably turned out good, except that I had to go out of state for a really long time on a work assignment in the oil-field.

I get back in town around the 1st of February to see where we stood only to have found out that he proposed to her, gave her a ring, and she accepted.

While the overall goal of the ploy was to make him jealous (it worked - he didn't date anybody and was stalking us whenever we went out), if I had known he was going into the store for a ring, I certainly wouldn't have laid out several hundred dollars for a bracelet.

I by twist of destiny moist myself in college while i replaced into 14because my instructor had refused me permission to bypass to the rest room on condition that we've been having a try. The embarrassment I felt that day replaced into like no longer something I ever felt in the previous or after. I nevertheless have not been in from now on embarrassing difficulty like that one. in actuality, it incredibly affected my later existence. From that incident, I went directly to alter into withdrawn, shy, and secluded, no longer prepared to make buddies or work together with others. I nevertheless remember that element, and nevertheless sense undesirable even however i'm 40 years previous now.

My first born son was about 1 1/2 years old. I had him in one of those umbrella strollers. This was the first time I really got to get back into going out and doing things since my son was born. So we went to the mall, and he seemed to really enjoy seeing all the different things in the stores and all the new people and bright lights. We went into a bath and body shop. One of my favorite stores!! And I had ahold of my sons stroller and I figured he is strapped in and he seems pretty calm. I started looking around and enjoying the different products and stoping to smell a candle or looking at a neat new product. When I was done looking around and leaving, my peace of mind was interrupted when the shoplifter alarms at the stores doorways went off. I turned around and as the store clerks approached me, as if on cue my beautiful young son whipped out from around his stroller about four or five of those round shower sponges. I apoliged up and down to the clerks and try to assure them I did not plant them there. They were really good about it and were trying not to laugh at me.
