I have sole custody of my son who is 3. I started a job two weeks ago, and its during third shift. My ex is a crappy mother, and doesn't want anything to so with him. Here's the question. My brothers/wifes/sister is baby-sitting for my son while I work. She's had a rough time, so I thought I'd give her a chance. She watches him for just a little cash, but she also has a good roof over her head, and has to pay nothing for food or anything else. But, she acted a little nervous when I got home from work.
When I got up this afternoon I turned on the t.v., and there was a video in it recorder. It was an amature porn movie, I made years ago, when I was in college. I did a few video's to help pay my way thru college. I know it was her that had done it, because they were kept in my closet in a box on the top shelf.
1. she snooped in my room
2. she watched about 45 min of me having sex
3. she left it in the recorder
I'd like to talk to her about it, but don't know how.

I would go at this from two angles: 1) she was watching porn while watching your son and 2) she snooped in your room.

Don't even touch on the fact that it's you in that porn; instead, look at it like this: how would you react if you came home and found that she'd gotten into your box of porn in the closet and had been watching it instead of your kid or while at home with your kid? Just say that you're concerned that she felt it was okay to dig around in your closet and that you don't think it's acceptable for her to be watching something like this when she should be caring for your son. Let her know that if either happens again, the porn or the snooping, you'll have to find another care provider.

Good luck!

Ask her point blank. How safe do you feel leaving your house knowing she is going thru your things? If she was looking for something to watch, and found out what this tape was, why didn't she stop it and put it away? I would like to know what she was doing going thru your personal belongings, in your bedroom? I hope you don't have anything of value, that could turn up missing.

Not sure why you hang onto the tapes - but each to their own.

You need to get locks for your bedroom door if you are going to continue to let her stay.

I would kick her butt out and pay more for a babysitter. If I can't trust her around my things I certainly would not trust her with my most precious posession - my child.

You must approach her with it!
Your son might of saw some of that, and it will be awkward, but you must.
