I was in 9th grade. I remember that first date like it was yesterday. Disasterous. lol This guy and I were such good buds. We were on the swim team together and had known each other for years. But then you have that "magic summer" of growth and then all of a sudden you see each other differently. *cough* That is until you go on a date with each other. lol He wouldn't talk...... I mean wouldn't say a word. We went to different schools so I found myself resorting to asking about his classes and his teachers. He still would barely talk. I hate lulls in the conversation so I finally said, "So what's on the cover of YOUR biology book? Mine has a picture of a frog." Yes..... that one question was the highlight of the night when he answered...... "A panda." *bangs head on table*
I came home that night and my parents asked me how it went. I remember saying, "If that's what dating is like..... I soo don't want to ever do it again!"

My first "date" was when I was 12 but, my dad & my best friend were there. We all went to a movie & we sat a few rows in front of my dad. lol My first real date was at 15.
