The average song is 4 MB. 8 GB is 8000 MB. You should get 2000 songs on (give or take a few).

it really depends on how long the song is. my MP3 said the ammount of songs is based on if they were all 4 min. my MP3 also said it could hold 250, but i have over 300 and still have space left.

4mb song =250 per gb.
8 X 250 = 2000 songs.

it will depend on their looseness on 64kbps it should be 4 000 thousand songs.you may set your program to 48 kbps to have more room it's the minimum size but it won't sound so good.

roughly, 1GB= 245 songs... so 8gb= 1960...approx
