Yes tampons are safe. Trust me, when you switch to tampons you'll never want to go back to those diapers ever again. Tampons are cleaner, easier, more comfortable, don't smell as much, etc.

Of course they're safe. All this stuff about TSS is if you wear a tampon for more then 8 hours. Just because you go swimming doesn't mean you have to wear a tampon. I got through a birthday party with just nothing but then after I had to run inside and put on a pad. Just DON'T wear a pad in the water!! You can try reading the labels and directions on tampons to see which is right for you and try the smallest size. If you don't get it just try to go in the water without anything on ( I mean wearing a suit of course!! ). GOod Luck and I hope this helped!! :-)

they are so much better. i use the easy glide up to about four years ago is when i made the change over from pad to tampon. And the easy glide is so comfortable. Less mess, and no odor, it's great. I highly recommend it. But you should get the o kay from the doctor. But if you have had not problems i would go for it. But the doctor is the one to ask. I love them. I myself wouldn't go swimming if I were on my cycle it actually scares me to think something might happen. But that's me

Tampons are completely safe if you use them properly. Don't keep them in longer than 6 hours max. This will keep you safe. If you aren't sure what kind to use ask what kind your friends use, or a female figure in your life. also you can go to www.beinggirl.com and get a free sample kit. Good luck!

Just because you want to go to the pool or the beach doesnt mean you need to start wearing tampons. As soon as you touch the water, the bleeding or running stops.
So, you will be fine. As long as right when you come out of the water you get a towel and go put on a pad. [[or go in with one]] My friend had a heavly flow and she still went in the pool and not a single stain on the bathing suit.
i hope this helps!!

Tamponrs are safe. Once you use these you wont want to use pads again. On heavy days I use a tampon & light pad.
Give it a try.

How were you scarred?! lol!
Start using tampons well in advance so you already have practice when you go for a swim. Good luck!

Yes they are. I use them with a pad on the even heavier days. Only use the name brand tampons.
