About 25% of users will have complete and immediate cessation of menstruation. Another 35% will have cessation within 6-12 months. Some women experience irregular bleeding and sometimes constant bleeding while using the shot.

Mine disappeared except for some occasional spotting.

I also had a lot of other very negative side affects of depo.

Google "depo provera lawsuit" and check out the Rate It All site about depo provera and look at the other reviews.

I was on it for four years and I'm so glad I am OFF that poison.
