Tongue surgery/swelling sollutions??

This monday I had a blood clot removed from my tongue. It was about the size of a pen tip. The swelling has only gone down a little bit so far. How long does it normally take? I cannot talk or eat because it is so swollen. I am also leaving town on sunday to go to camp. Will it be gone by then? Do you have any remidies?
Any of advice is welcome. Thank you very much.

Your mom needs to consult the doctor on this one BEFORE you go to camp.
