Solve the following system of equation by using the addition method.

x – y = 12

2x + y = 3

Just add the equations, u'll get,

3x = 15
x = 5

y = 3 - 2x
y = 3 - 10
y = -7

(5, -7) is the solution.

x = 5

10 + y = 3
y = - 7

x = 5 , y = - 7
