when you were young, did they rush to switch it off or coolly watch it?
mine were the 'switch it off quick!' type

God, they switched it off promptly, which made me even more curious about what they'd switched off and why. Parents in those days made sex out to be a bad thing. But i found out for myself that it definately wasn't.

Mine were the 'watch it coolly' type but no-ones eyes ever met!

When I was younger I would only watch cartoons, so there wasn't really a problem. Too bad nowadays kids can't watch anything without some sexual reference or access to MTV or some inappropriate stuff even on kids shows these days.

This is SO funny, I am literally ROFLMAO here!!
Mine was 'Right, time for bed - night, night see you in the morning'. And of course, like kids of that day did - we went straight to bed without a word!!
These days, if something 'rude' comes on telly, I say jokingly to my youngest 'Avert thine eyes, th'll go blind' !!!
Our kids love it when we tell them tales of what our parents made us do!
You've really given me a lift tonight - I'm still laughing my head off inside!!

My Dad used to say ' I'm not watching this rubbish'....get up a bit too quick and turn it over....Mum would just blush!

my parents "rushed to switch it off". my dad would get so upset when i tried to watch "ren and stempy" haha.
