My dr. told me to expect a miscarriage at anytime now I should be 7.5 weeks along but the fetus is only at 5 weeks and the heartbeat is very slow. I know the doctors are right but I still hope and pray it will spontaneously turn around. Has this ever happened to anyone and has anyone had a healthy baby with those kind of odds? Also what should I expect when I start to miscarry? How long will it last. It scares me to death.

I wanted to say I'm sorry for what you are going thru and also try to help you if I can based on what I have heard from some others who have miscarried. One of the things that some have said is that they started to notice some cramping that was kind of like a period. Others have also noticed actual bleeding, and even having tissue come out that is grey in color.
If this tissue comes out please make sure to save it and take it to the dr to have them test to make sure that it is indeed from the miscarriage.
I hope that the things do turn around for your baby.
