If your life span is very short you'll only have to say that a few times. Life is full of mistakes, errors, etc. if you try a lot of things.Even Da Vinci couldn't draw a straight line when he first discovered pencils.

i dont see why.
We only effectively learn from our mistakes(Eg Darwin-ism
as a theory,should one day be superseded by not only a
better theory,but by a more civilized and mature one)and
even so,some stare-us-in-the-face but we still either refuse
or plain can't see our current mistake.
This is usually,but not always,because we have been effctively taught and "shown" that there can be nothing else
that "fits"(in ones knowledge-or a societies/group etc).
In this way,you should be able to see that we are all highly
likely to say"im never going to make a mistake again";
Whereapon,we then just have made mistake number two(!)
See one of the master"learners" below.

Elaine P's rule: Never again say, "never again." Unfortunately, we don't learn from our first mistake.

well...kinda... Either that, either you're afraid to make a change, fearing it'll be for the worse.
I don't know if it's stupid, but it sure sounds so

I don't think it should even be said once. Who can say what we'll do in the future?
