I went to kentucky for a week to visit my BF.......
and now that i'm back my parents don't want to hear about my trip or any of the details......or the details of the trip next month.....
my mom just says things like i don't want to hear about it or talk about it now....over and over and over again......
my whole family just brushes it off......like everything else in my life......i'm not like annoying them ...i just would of liked to tell them about the time i had and all the tings i did.....but no one wants to hear ...........
am i over reacting.......or does it not matter......
I'm 22.......and i still live at home for now................

they have only met him once for like 5 min......there fault that they didn't meet him longer ...they didn't want to.......
and i'm thinking on moving but i don't want to leave my BEST FRIEND.....i love her to much to move

i think the second answerer is right. but i wouldn't be happy about their reaction either. i wish all this was easier on you. life is so crappy sometimes. you deserve things to fall into place for once. shall we be mad at god for his continued and apparent unsensitivity? i can't think of anything else to do.... :(

Perhaps they do not approve of your relationship with the boy from KY? Perhaps they know that most of the state of KY has nothing more exciting to do than watch the paint dry. I live in Louisville. That is supposed to be the hottest place on the map. I know of that which I speak.

as a mother of two sons, i find it just deplorable that your family just "brick walls" you when you need/want to talk. if a child is wanting to talk to a parent, that parent should listen and appropriately give feedback....we all make our own mistakes/life choices. i made some in my life, so i can not try to manipulate and bully my kids into not making any...
i will be here if you need someone to listen...

They might have known what you did when you were with your BF since they know what you have done before (or atleast that's what they think).
Ask them to guess what you had done and tell them they were wrong and possibly tell them what you actually had done in Kentucky.

I always make time to listen to my kids,we sit and talk for hours,they would rather be here than at their own place,that really seems strange,wont they listen to you at all...
