And please no, "She's a woman" answers... That's not a qualification.

I want to know what she has done for the people of her state and for the country (and I'd also like to point out that she voted yes on the most recent amnesty bill). What has she done that makes her deserve our vote?

She sucked up to the Dems political machine. That's all it takes. I wish the American people weren't so shallow, but they are. That's why Hillary, and Barak Obama, another candidate who hasn't done a damned thing, are leading the pack right now. In the immortal words of Forrest Gump, "Stupid is as stupid does!"

She worked for the Rose Law Firm while Walmart was ILLEGALLY importing goods from China and smuggling them into the country with "MADE IN THE U.S.A." tags sewn inside.
The Rose Law Firm was the legal adviser that helped manage the "BUY AMERICA" campaign Walmart had at that time.
This was the topic of a one hour program aired by 20/20 (or some similar news magazine) back in 1992.
Don't forget all her other legally shady deals. She and her hubby have made MILLIONS at your expense as a payoff for their help when it was needed.

She has reached the age of 35, was born in the US and has lived the last 14 years in the US. That is all the Constitution requires. She has, by the way, more experience than the current one did upon entering the office. She has federal experience he didn't.

Well, you have to at least admit her ability to give back at least as much verbal abuse as she got, and probably still gets, from Slick Willy. They fought each other like cat and dog and both got off a lot of foul language when they lived in the White House, according to the Secret Service and the White House staff. Most women who took all that, and the cheating too, have demanded a divorce.

Of course, Bill's still of some value to her political ambitions.

She slip with the president...

Wait, does that mean Monica Lewinsky would be a good vice president.. No it doesnt! So stop thinking her in the white house gave her experience.

Remember when the " Universal health care " idea she pushed went sour, she diappearred for months.. Do you really wanna a president who backs out when she doesnt get her way?

She's 35 years old and a natural born citizen of the US. She passed the bar exam and is a US Senator. She's a smart, strong woman which means a lot of men won't vote for her. I doubt she'll win, but she's probably as well qualified as a former NYC mayor and a former Senator and TV actor.

Now, if her politics don't appeal to you, vote for somebody else.

She's been a pretty good senator here in New York; has really benefitted the schools all over the state. Even Republican counties that voted against her have ended up liking her...

One thing she did you probably don't want to know about is that after 9/11, when the federal government renegged on moneys to go for fire department and police preparedness for another attack, she forced the feds to give up the promised money. Which was more than Giuliani was able to manage.

Meanwhile, since qualifications are on the table, what were Bush's for being president?

Not a very good governor, ask texans... lousy businessman...
reformed alcoholic... What were his qualifications; were you asking for those when you voted for him?

Qualifying and Deserving are two seperate issues!!!
Hill is quite well connected. She comes from a very politically powerful family....She has a masters in law and was well connected in the White House when her wife was president. How do you think Bill got elected???? That's Right Hill.

As for deserving...I wouldn't vote for her. Only because she is way too liberal for my taste. I admire that she remained married to a man who embarassed her to the core and that she has been able to move forward with her own political career in the face of scandal....but that is as far as it goes. I am not a fan of Condanista Rice either! Nana

Nothing, she is a 2nd term Senator with no major legislation on her side and a gumption for fighting with the other side of the aisle who dare stand up to her brash Chicago-style politicing.
